Day 2 and 3. Redwood National Park

After a full day of driving we finally made it to California. We were searched at the border because we had bananas, apples and plums from CO. It was pretty funny because we held up a huge line of traffic. We took the Trinity Highway from Redding to Arcata, one of the most beautiful drives I've done. It started raining the minute we got to the Redwoods. Very, very heavy rain the for the next two days. We hiked with the dogs for about 4 miles. Then, Erin and I decided to hike a 9 mile trip to the beach. It was very cold and everything we had was soaked. I'm very impressed with the roof tent, no leaks at all! I hope you enjoy the picture of the CA sign, I timed the picture just right..ha ha.

Here's a video....I hope it worked.
